Making Contact

by Cowboy Bob Sorensen

Whether you know it or not, Christians are involved in spiritual warfare (Eph. 6:12, 2 Cor. 10:4). Part of this is the fact that we must share the gospel message (Matt. 28:18-20, 1 Peter 3:15). Some folks have a spiritual gift of evangelism, others take it slow. More about this later.

Reluctantly delving into music generated by artificial intelligence, I learned that it has many levels. Some of it is simply telling AI to make a music video about whatever. Others are made by people who go in depth with the technology.

At "My AI Viking Girlfriend," I discussed these things at length. After the article was published, I had a stirring inside and contacted one of the people who runs a music video channel. (They are cinematic in nature, the people look real.) Reading posts, it seems that she puts a great deal of work into making her AI music videos. She also takes a beating from comments. I wanted her to know that some of her music actually touched me.

I got a response thanking me for the kind words and that my letter encouraged her. That felt good, even though I have no idea of her name or country of residence. Later, I gave a brief comment on a new video that she posted, and she said she wanted to know my thoughts. I complied, and she positively responded to them.

Sometimes the gospel is shared all at once, other times we essentially plant seeds in the hearts and minds of others. (Those of us who do biblical creation science ministries often focus on equipping the saints to help remove stumbling blocks caused by evolutionary fictions that hinder people from coming to Christ.) Maybe I'll have more discussion with this individual, and I hope I can get her to think of spiritual matters. It would be great if this led to sharing the gospel. Whether I do it or someone else, she is on my heart and I've been praying for her.
