Too bad about yardsticks, and meter sticks, they are not making them any longer. In the physical world, there are units of measure which are standardized. Otherwise, your  yard or meter would be different from my  yard or meter, and so on. Confusion would result. Morality is similar to this (and therefore, ethics). When I first attempted to defend creation and refute descent with modifications evolution, I reacted more than responded. This is mainly because I was unprepared and needed more input from biblical creation science sources. Mayhaps I was afraid the evolutionists were right, and I did not want to give them ammunition. There are some things that creationists and evolutionists do not realize. One is that everyone has the same evidence, nobody has ours and  theirs . Interpretations are very important. Some details are agreed upon by both camps. One is natural selection.
