Evolutionary Thinking Slapped Down by Biblical Family

People consider humans to be animals, and there is a sense that is true. We are classified that way because it is expedient. While similarities are used by believers in minerals-to-mother evolution as evidence for their view, the evidence also points to the common Designer.

Since we are animals, we should act like them. Such an idea fails from the get-go — except in sexual activity. Secularists believe we should spread around our genes, so promiscuity can be "scientifically" excused. Darwinian models tend to support this idea.

While sexual promiscuity is growing, people who are cohabiting without marriage often have problems when a partner is unfaithful. Also, Darwinists tend to look at selected data to make their views seem compelling instead of saddling up and riding to the top of the hill to get the big picture. Mayhaps genes are spread around, but the children do not do nearly as well as those from a biblical family as established by the Creator.
In an article published in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology in June 2025, Clo et al (2025) builds a case against monogamy and for promiscuity by examining animal and plant behavior. A spate of similar articles released this year, such as a microsimulation study, published in Demographic Research (April 2025) also applies evolutionary mating logic to a cohort of Dutch women’s reproductive trajectories, referencing an evolutionary framework of “re-partnering and multi-partner fertility”, which supposedly “enhances” genetic compatibility and reduces mutation load.

The article is not as technical as this opening may lead one to believe. To finish reading, head on over to "Biblical Family Excels Over Evolutionary Promiscuity."
