Creation in the Evangelism Toolbox

Christians tend to be unaware that common evangelism methods are lacking, and that is because Western society has become paganized. Study on it a spell. We have been taught to implore them to repent of their sin and make Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives. True, but not so effective nowadays. People used to respect the Bible to some extent — but not so much anymore. Sin? What is that? Where did it come from? The theistic evolutionist and old earth creation fifth columns brush it aside, but creation belongs in our evangelism toolkits. Assorted tools, Pexels / Energepic We have tools in a box, on a bench, or someplace special. There is often that one tool that we seek out most often. Major Christian doctrines are found in Genesis. Sin itself, for one. Creation Evangelism is effective and can be the go-to tool, refuting the evolutionary paganism entrenched in our society. Indeed, creationists have shown where evolutionists admit they are acting without evidence, and we point out that ev...

Greater Impact — Lincoln or Darwin

Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln had a birth date in common, but similarities between the two men are rather sparse. Obviously they lived in different countries. Darwin was highfalutin but Lincoln was born in poverty and had to work his way up. A similarity between them is that both hard to market themselves, Darwin with influential friends and knowing how to sell his ideas , Lincoln was in the Illinois state legislature, then the House of Representatives, ultimately President. Very different personalities and beliefs, each had a lasting impact on society. On this fifteenth annual Question Evolution Day , it is important to contrast the influence each of them had. Since the stories of evolution are very old, someone would have come up with an allegedly scientific version. Indeed, we almost had Wallacism instead of Darwinism . There is compelling evidence that near the end of his life, Abe became a Christian; his beliefs underscored his policies. Charlie's religious beliefs are de...

Professing Christians have done bad Things

A search of history, or even personal memories, will reveal that there are people who claim to be Christians who act in an unchristlike manner. That is, they "talk the talk" but may not "walk the walk". Some unbelievers say that churches are full of hypocrites. (So are grocery stores.) Well, it has been said that churches are hospitals for sinners, not museums for saints. Although all of us who profess to follow Jesus display failings, we are human, after all. This does not negate the truth of Christianity in the least. Inquisition Scene / Francisco Goya (1819) It is a fact that atheists lie. A lot. Some have falsely claimed that "religion" is the cause of most wars . Other things in history they bring up include the Crusades, the Salem Witch Trials, the Spanish Inquisition — "I didn't expect the —" Stop that. Indeed, when atheists bring such things up, they tend to misrepresent the numbers of deaths more often than not. Centuries ago, the ...
